What to Expect During the Treatment

At Freedom Health Group, we offer a quick and simple Vitamin B12 injection service. Here’s what you can expect during your visit:

  • Consultation: You’ll have an initial consultation with a Clinical Nurse Prescriber who will assess your symptoms, medical history, and whether a B12 injection is suitable for you.
  • Injection: The B12 injection will be administered by our Clinical Nurse Prescriber. The injection is usually given into a muscle (intramuscular) in your arm, thigh, or buttocks. It typically takes only a few minutes.
  • Aftercare: You can resume your normal activities immediately after the injection. Some individuals may experience mild soreness at the injection site, which typically resolves within a few hours.
